Schaumburg Hotel Savings Guide

Schaumburg affordable hotels that will fit your budget
Schaumburg, Cook County is a city in North Eastern Illinois. It is near the Chicago and O’Hare International Airport. The city went from being a rural community towards being a suburban metropolis starting in 1959’s first wide scale suburban-style development and the opening of America’s second largest mall back in 1971. The Woodfield Mall has more than 300 stores. The city also cradles Motorola Solution’s world headquarters, Illinois’ one of only two stores of IKEA, and Medieval Times, a dinner theater chain which only has eight other spots across America.
The City of Schaumburg’s logo has four willow leaves wherein each leaf represents the residents of the city, nature, business, and industry. It also has a five petal heraldic rose that symbolizes the Schaumburg-Lippe, Germany coat of arms where many of its settlers came from. The ten more willow leaves are said to represent the never ending effort of the city to push forth the balance of what the four leaves symbolizes. This Illinois’ theme is “Progress through Thoughtful Planning.”
The City of Schaumburg Park District has been continuously reaping awards and recognitions reflecting the suburbia’s thorough effort for development. It is no wonder one will want to take a look at what the city’s parks has to offer with a Gold Medal, Illinois Distinguished Agency, and NPRA Excellence in Aquatics. Don’t forget to visit the Schaumburg Township District Library and the Prairie Center for the Arts too.
