New York Marriott Marquis Times Square

had the time of my life!
I literally had the time of my life during my stay in the Marriott Times Square. Took in a play one night, had a fabulous dinner and retired to my room. It was all so Sweeeet!

Huge beds
My husband and I enjoyed our New York trip. Couldn't have chosen a better hotel! The bed was huge, considerably larger than in any other NYC hotel we stayed at.

Beyond my expectations
THE BEST IN MANHATTAN! Can’t believe I was thinking twice, the price was well worth it. My mother loved her Broadway shows while I shopped til I dropped.

Marriott NYC stay
Hotel was excellent, the view from our room was spectacular. Location is prime for Times Square. Staff was helpful and friendly at check in. Would definitley return.

Only one issue.
I booked a group of 8 rooms under my name. I was emailed by someone from Marriott for the names of the people in each room to which I replied. I received an out of office reply back. When I checked in, the other rooms still had not been put under the names of the people in them. I gave those names to the person checking me in and went to my room. When the remainder of my group tried to check in later, their names were still not assigned to the rooms so they would not check them in. I had to call back and go over all the names again while the person I spoke with put the names to the rooms. Once that was done, everyone was able to check in. Other than the initial trouble, my stay was outstanding. I really like that whenever you call the desk or room service they called you by name when they answered. Everyone was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Marriott Marquis Review
My wife and I had a wonderful one night stay at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, New York. It is a perfect location for attending a Broadway show and availability to sightseeing, etc. It was, however, a bit expensive, but for a special occasion it was just wonderful. We have a Marriott rewards card, but I don't think our stay was ever accredited to our card by the person who checked us in even though my wife informed him. We would definitely stay there again for a special occasion. We are native New Yorkers, and neither one of us had ever stayed in a New York City hotel before. It was fun!

I LOVE this hotel - It is wonderful. I stay here whenever I travel to NY. It is well worth the cost to have the true NY experience. I have stayed at the Marquis at least 5 times and have always had a wonderful experience!

Awesome! We will definately stay at this hotel again. It was located in the perfect spot. Our room was very spacious and had amazing views of Times Square. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating.

The BEST ever!!!!
We traveled with 4 women and we were all quite pleased with accommodations that your hotel offered!!!! Our exiting procedures were quick and smooth as a cab was hailed for us and the luggage was carefully kept and monitored. Thank you!

December at the Marriott Marquis Times Square
We had a wonderful time at your hotel. The services were first class from the concierge, to the ticket sales and the fitness center. An added bonus was the Starbucks located in the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful time!

In a dazzling location the wonderfully appoointed room and grat service could not hhave been better!

Good choice for theater-goers
We stayed in the Marriott Marquis Times Square for an extended weekend getaway to see some Broadway shows in January. Pluses: Location, location. It is right in the heart of TS so all the shows, and many restaurants, are just steps from the hotel. Two excellent restaurants to choose from. Room was very large, with a king size bed & sofa - plenty of room for 2 to spread out - rare at this price level. Always like the Marriott shampoo etc. Minuses: Service a little spotty. Asked for extra hangers & they never came. The internet service is not free. The food is quite good in the restaurants, but extremely expensive - breakfast for 2 can run you $80. There is a teensy 1-cup coffeemaker in the room, but I was hoping for a microwave & fridge as well. Room service does not deliver 24 hours -- this is the city that never sleeps, so what's up with that? Tub/shower is fine but nothing special - no soaking tub or jacuzzi like you might get for this price in another city. No spa on the premises. In summary, this is a good, basic place to stay for the location. I'd stay there again especially in adverse weather when you don't want to schlep to the shows.

Good Time
The hotel was very nice and spacious. The only complaint that I have is that the staff failed to inform me that they take a 100$ out of my account for accommodations. This would have been fine if I was informed. Thank you for a wonderful welcoming stay.

Best Vacation of my life!
I absolutely loved this hotel. I wish I could live the rest of my life there and I would if I could afford it. My only regret is that my husband had passed by the time I got to go there and he wasn't wirh me. My daughter was though and we had a blast in New York. Was there Jan. 2011 and went back June 2011. Both times were great! Love it, love it, love it.

Excellent from the time of arrival outside to the time we left. Friendly, polite felt like everybody really enjoyed their work.

te hotel is beautiful the food is great the gym is the most complete in any hotel i have been and my bartender tony is fantastic

great location, not sure it was worth it
Hotel is very nice, amazing location, but it is huge! You don't get individual attention and you do feel like a number overall. Also we were offered upgrade for $100 extra per night to have Times Square view; we declined, but got one (not the premium) anyway! That said, there were very lovely staff: the gentlemen at the valet parking and the housekeeping staff in particular. We had great time, but spent a fortune in the process.
