Bavaro is a top tourist destination that is positioned within the La Altagracia Province. It is next to Punta Cana which is considered as a prime tourist region in the Dominican Republic. The beautiful town was developed as a place for resort workers that had full time jobs in Punta Cana but later became a tourist magnet because of its fine white sand beaches.


The boundaries of the beautiful town starts right at the crossroad of Veron which is anchored after Otra Banda and Higuey, then it stretches 15 kilometers northward up until the Macao Beach crossroad. The town offers 10 wide kilometers of beach for every tourist to enjoy.  


The city houses several all-inclusive resorts from top resort chains along with high-class apartments and condominiums that stand along the beachfront. Most accommodations have top-notch amenities and come with expensive rates. Budget accommodations are also available in the area. Most of these do not come with beachfront locations, but are within walking distance.
